Pride Art goes international

Pride Art is helping to build up queer art communication internationally.

As Pride Arts' leader, Frederick is involved in a council to build up Pride Art in Copenhagen, where the very first queer exhibition was in the Nordics in 1983, and where "Nordic gay artists" started, which later became the origin of Pride Art in Norway in 1985 with the exhibition Night & Day. Now Pride Art Copenhagen Pride is helping to rebuild Pride Art there.

«Pride Art - a queer space for expression must be an exhibition platform for Danish, Faroese and Greenlandic visual artists who work with LGBTQIA + experiences in their practice. The exhibition platform will be established in a large tent and contain a commercially censored exhibition, talks, performances and screenings produced by the growth team and well-established LGBTQIA + visual artists in connection with Copenhagen Pride Week from 15-21. August 2022. »
