Join a star-studded gala performance to raise money for the Skeivt Art and Culture Center!
The crème de la crème of queer artists delivers laughter, goosebumps and good vibes. The evening is the start of the big art auction, which will ensure that queers get a safe house where new artistic expressions in all forms will be created. This will be a sparkling performance with a range of music from opera to pop, jazz and burlesque!
The Weird Arts and Culture Center Foundation was established in 2021 with a competent board after a 2-year preliminary project financed by the Culture Council and the Culture Agency in Oslo municipality. In 2022, on behalf of the foundation, Pride Art has run 11 pilots for the center at the major art and cultural institutions in Norway. The goal is now to collect support for the appointment of a general manager who will put the last details in place so that premises are acquired and operating assets are in place.
