From June 2022 into 2023, Pride Art will design and curate the exhibition «Queer Art retrospect» at Oslo City Museum. Norwegian skewed art history cannot be told meaningfully without taking the underground and grassroots level as a starting point. Skeivt Kulturår is about telling the stories in public that have been forgotten and ignored. But within the queer environment, Pride Art has run offensive art dissemination continuously since 1985. It gives Oslo and Norway a unique history and experience in an international context that we can be proud to tell. The story must be told from within, it is our story, and it must be shown on our premises.
